They had live music this night (for a fee) so we left right at closing, but the grounds are beautiful, the staff are all very friendly and the wines are good.ĭon't worry about the negative reviews and just give it a chance and decide for yourself.
I can certainly see why everyone loved her and the energy she must've brought to the winery. We were fortunate enough to be seated next to and meet the 'Mary' in so many reviews, she was there with her husband celbrating their daughter, Julie's birthday.
Both were very good and we each ordered a glass to enjoy. I had the Staff Pick Red Wine flight while my wife had the Sparkling Wine Flight. We enjoyed the pretzels off the menu, along with their fish and chips. We chose to sit inside since all the outside tables in the shade were full. We were greeted immediately and chose a table. If you don't know, or care, about the history, you just want to have a nice wine tasting experience - this is what you'll get. If you're just winery hopping this is worth the stop. Ste Chapelle got such bad reviews we wrote it off.but on a whim, we stopped, decided to find out on our own. We're passing through town and were researching wineries to visit.
